New and improved roads have considerably reduced the travelling time to the West Country. The fastest route is via the M5 to Exeter, then the A30 (signposted Okehampton) until the junction with the A3079 to Holsworthy, which joins the A3072 after Halwill Junction.

If travelling on the A3072 from Holsworthy towards Bude, take the first turning on the left after the golf course. This turning is signposted 'Bridgerule three miles'. Continue on this road to a T-junction in the village, turn left and Glebe House is on the right at the crest of the hill.

If travelling down the A39 towards Bude from the direction of Bideford, turn left in Stratton on to the A3072 signposted to Holsworthy. At The Red Post Restaurant turn right on to the B3254 towards Launceston. After one and a half miles turn left signposted Bridgerule. Turn left at T-junction and pass straight through the village. Glebe House is on the right at the crest of the hill.
