Hello Everyone, Ruben here………………….

Trust you are all safe and sound despite the weathers best efforts to blow us off our feet and keep us wet wet wet! It is fair to say that June in our dog friendly holiday cottages has been a bit blowy to say the least!

last week one of our lovely willow trees was blown down – it just missed Michael’s car which was lucky – Michael and Alison then spent a happy couple of days (!) chopping it up ready for firewood so that Blake & I will stay toasty warm in the winter!

Our guests have been making the best of the weather and have proved the British holiday spirit is alive and well!

The family have also been out and about in the elements most recently on Sunday when they all ran in their first Half Marathon from Holsworthy to Hatherleigh – a very long 13.1 miles! They even managed to take a friend with them too but sadly not Blake and I – dogs are not allowed to take part in case we show the runners up by running too fast! They all finished in very respectable times and I hear whispers of another run soon – watch this spot.
